Adoption considers usage i.e. the number of active users as a proportion of the number of contracted users. It also considers if the Customer is using features in your solution that differentiate you from competitive solutions, features that you would consider higher value in your market, and new features.

It is usual to assess adoption regularly, perhaps monthly, and likely imported from usage data from your product. If there are multiple adoption readings, Adoption RAG is assessed from the latest.
